DevOps Engineer

Overview
A leading organisation in a regulated environment is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and operate scalable, secure AWS-based platforms, with a strong focus on Kubernetes (EKS) and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimise AWS infrastructure across multiple environments
• Operate and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including upgrades and migrations
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (e.g. ArgoCD)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm)
• Ensure monitoring, alerting, and system observability (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
• Maintain cloud security, compliance, and best practices
• Optimise cloud costs and improve platform efficiency
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability

Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
• Strong AWS experience (EKS, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Proven Kubernetes experience in production
• CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code expertise
• Solid Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools

Desirable

• Experience in regulated or multi-region environments
• Knowledge of FinOps or cost optimisation
• Familiarity with GitOps, autoscaling tools, or event-driven architectures
